Helping Hands activities of SPVB in May 2015
HELPING HANDS HO COMMITTEE: FOOD AND ACCESSORIES FAIR 2015
On 30 May, the second Food & Accessories Fair 2015 was held at SPVB HO Office. The event received the participation of SPVB HO Office members, GIBC Company, Sheraton Saigon Hotel, Tri Art Company with many of the company’s friends & partners. Thanks to this initiative, it helps toget more interaction, engagement of the SPVB HO members and it is a good opportunity for them to show their talent for cooking, sales skills and teamwork spirit.
In particular, the program also received the active participation of top 11 Dynamic contestants. Joining hands in this program, the contestants not only show their talent but also show their responsibility to the community. It helps to create a foundation to help them become successful entrepreneurs and be accountable to the community in the future.

Among the 16 registered booths, five booths received the event awards including Best Sweet Dish, Best Savoury Dish, Best Display Shop, Best Teamwork, Best Contribution Group. Thanks to the committee members’ great effort and heart-felt contributions, this year, SPVB HH HO Committee raised a total amount of over 95 million VND (13 million more vs last year) from the booths and individuals. This will be used to support the younger generation in July and August.
SPVB HH DIEN BAN COMMITTEE: THE FIRST PROGRAM OF 2015
On 30 May, SPVB HH Dien Ban Committee successfully held the first Helping Hands program in 2015.
Accordingly, the committee visited and presented more than 65 million to Phu Ninh Social Center who are raising 54 disabled children. The program received the enthusiastic contribution of all employees as well as the participation of more than 30 volunteers in the visit to the center.
SPVB CAN THO BRANCH PRESENTS COMPUTERS FOR DISABLE AND CHILDREN IN REMOTE AREAS
On 21 April, the representative of SPVB Can Tho branch, Mr. Ho Trong Khai, and President of Can Tho People's Committee visited and donated four computers to the School of Raising Children with Disabilities in Can Tho City. This school takes care of over 100 deaf children. IT is a key area of need, and one the school focuses on as it can be the path to social and economic independence in later life without the need for verbal communication.
SPVB Can Tho Branch presented computers for students
On 22 April, the delegation visited and donated a further four computers to Vinh Thanh School. This is in the remote district of Can Tho city, and caters to children from kindergarten to primary school.
