The Signing Ceremony of 3-year partnership between Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam and the Vietnam National Union of Students from 2018 to 2020
In continuation with the outstanding achievements of the 2015 – 2017 period, Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam is glad to extend the partnership for the period 2018 to 2020. Accordingly, Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam will continue to accompany the youth by providing financial and free-good sponsorship for the volunteers of Green Summer, Support the Student in University Entrance Exam campaigns and other programs helping to build the pride and patriotism amongst students including “Students and the nation’s islands” and “Vietnamese Youth – The Peace Story”, academic playgrounds and others activities to encourage creativity of the students, commemorate traditional days of Vietnamese students, etc. The partnership’s main focus lays on the Green Summer campaign to which the company and Revive brand provide support under the theme “Sweats of Goodness”, which aims at developing the youth to grow to their fullest and at the same time, cultivating the sense of responsibility towards the community amongst the youth. Thousands of meaningful values for the community will come with every sweat of the youth.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet, Standing Deputy Chairman of VNUS said: “The Green Summer campaign is one of the priorities of VNUS for the last so many years. The program offered the platform for the students nationwide to practice “5 standards of students” movement, to develop and grow into a good citizen to the society. Creative start-up model is the new trend of the 4.0 industry, we hope that the cooperation with Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam would create new programs and activities aiming towards building a new student model who welcomes integration and is willing to contribute to the society.

Ever since the partnership was established, together we have organized various activities that encourage the youngsters to live, develop to the fullest and at the same time, help them to cultivate a sense of responsibility towards the community. For us, being a good corporate citizen is not limited to just legal compliance and producing high-quality products. In fact, a good corporate citizen also needs to contribute to the sustainable development of the community and supporting the youth is one of our priorities."

Earlier, the partnership from 2015 to 2017 saw Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam accompanying VNUS in voluntary campaigns including Green Summer, Support the Students in University Entrance Exam, etc. The partnership also saw the construction of 51 clean water systems in 12 different provinces and island districts nationwide; 50 public fitness facilities in Hanoi, Mekong Delta area; and many houses, children playgrounds and bookshelves for the people in remote areas. In 2017, the clean water systems for the community sponsored by Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam via Green Summer and “Mizuiku – I love clean water” programs was voted as 1 of the 7 “Outstanding Youth Work of the Year” by the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Central Youth Union to acknowledge the enthusiasm and creativity of the youth in creating meaningful values for the community.
