With the spirit "no one to be left behind", Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam Beverage organized many activities to support Da Nang, Quang Nam and Quang Ngai – the provinces greatly affected by the 2nd wave of pandemic in Vietnam.
Joining hands to support the central region through the pandemic
From end July to early August, the brands #Aquafina, #Revive, # GoodMood of Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam cooperated with the City Youth Union – Danang Union of Students and Province Youth Union – Quang Nam Union of Students, hospital p and university leadership to donate over 3,300 product cases to hospitals, quarantine areas and dormitories in these two places.Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam want to join hands and support the central area people to overcome this difficult time.
24,000 humanitarian meals
Implemented since April, the program "Million Meals" is a collaborative effort of the Central Vietnam Youth Union, PepsiCo Food Vietnam and Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam to spread love through the community and donate humanitarian meals to people living in difficulty due to the pandemic.
During the 2nd wave of the pandemic, the program continued to donate 24,000 humanitarian meals, which worth VND 360 million to 1,600 people in need in the pandemic centers of Da Nang and Quang Nam provinces.

Hồ Chí Minh, Đà Nẵng, Hải Phòng, Cần Thơ và đến với các tỉnh Quảng Trị, Thừa Thiên Huế, Quảng Bình, Hậu Giang, …
"Flexible Learning – Connecting Knowledge" during the pandemic
Previously, in the first wave of pandemic in Vietnam, the program donated 500,000 meals to more than 33,000 people living in difficulty, the poor, the homeless, workers, the unemployed and students in Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Hai Phong, Can Tho, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Binh, Hau Giang, etc.
The complicated pandemic has made it difficult for the students in affected areas to study due to social distance. Students in poor areas do not have enough facilities to maintain their studies. Understanding the situation and wanting to support the Vietnam young generation, Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam cooperated with the Vietnam National Union of Students to launch the program "Flexible Learning – Connecting Knowledge" with the participation of the company employees and the community to help poor students to continue their study during the pandemic. The program wishes to call for 20,000 Facebook posts/shares with content about flexible learning approach during the pandemic. Accordingly, Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam will coordinate with the Vietnam National Union of Students to present 70 new laptops to poor students with good performance in the pandemic centers Da Nang, Quang Nam and Quang Ngai. With this effort, the company hopes to improve the student study conditions through the pandemic.
Over the past 26 years, Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam has focused on promoting the learning culture, enhancing knowledge and personal development of each individual employee and the young generation of Vietnam. The program hopes to further spread the learning spirit amongst Vietnamese youngsters and encourage them to master knowledge even during difficult circumstances.
