Suntory Launches Country Website For Vietnam Market
Tokyo. (July 31, 2018) – Today, Suntory Holdings, one of the world’s leading consumer products companies, launched a Suntory microsite for Vietnam (www.suntory.vn), aiming to create awareness of Suntory and develop understanding about Suntory in Vietnam.
The opening of the Vietnam website marks Suntory’s third platform for communicating corporate information, after its sites in Japan and the US. Suntory plans to roll out more websites to the countries where it operates.
The website was designed with a water motif after Suntory’s promise of “Mizu to Ikiru,” (living with water). It creatively blends Suntory’s “harmony” and “sustainability” concepts by devices such as a vertical design that shows information about Suntory Global and Vietnam together and a unique “back to top” animation on the top page that brings users back to the source of the water flow.
“We started our operation in Vietnam after the establishment of Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam Beverage in 2013 and now Vietnam is one of the top markets for our non-alcohol beverage business. True to our value, ‘Giving back to society,’ we are also active in social activities. An example is ‘Mizuiku—I love clean water,’ our unique educational program to teach the importance of water. Suntory Vietnam website consists of four key areas:
• “Who we are” describes Suntory’s corporate profile and commitments. It includes Suntory’s more than 100 years of history, messages from both the CEO of Suntory Holdings and Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam and the company’s presence in Vietnam.
• “What we make” introduces Suntory’s unique diversified portfolio, from market-leading products in Vietnam to its award-wining whiskies.
• “What we believe” describes the philosophy that underpins all of Suntory’s activities.
•“News” will introduce select announcements or reports about Suntory’s activities, both globally and in Vietnam.
